Synoptix can optionally install the Neuron Agent from Halcyon, a remote system-monitoring tool. Offering to compliment reactive break-fix services such as those provided by the Sun Spectrum Support. Synoptix can deliver to your organization the ability of a standalone system to deliver a collection of system management services designed to help you better control your IT environment without requiring the use of a dedicated management server. These Web-delivered services give you the ability to selfmonitor systems, create performance and trend reports, and receive automatic notification so that you can act more quickly when a system event occurs and manage potential issues before they become problems. Results are viewed from the server itself, or you can nominate a server to be a portal for all existing monitored servers in your organization.
